  • Aliveness Audit

  • The Aliveness CODE is a framework designed to help you take conscious steps towards feeling more energized and alive and less stressed and depleted.

The starting point for any positive action is awareness. To help you get a picture of what is going on in your life and how it is affecting you, it can be helpful to do an Aliveness Audit, using the continuums of the CODE model as a frame of reference.

You can use the questions below as prompts to start think about the aspects of your life that contribute to feeling constricted, open, drained, or energized. You’ll also find some examples of what might lead to each.

Start with a broad look, using the five questions below.

    1. Overall, where on the CODE continuum graph would you put your life currently? (This is just a rough, big picture of where things feel like they stand overall.)
    2. What in your life is having a constricting effect?
    3. What in your life helps you feel more open (more expansive, more in flow, more peaceful, more connected, etc.)?
    4. What in your life drains your energy?
    5. What in your life energizes you?

If it’s helpful, you can use this graphic to plot out where the different aspects of your life lie.

In addition to doing a preliminary Aliveness Audit, you can use this on an ongoing basis to check in on a regular basis with where you are in your life.

If you want to take a more detailed look, you can use the questions and examples below.
