• What if you could feel more energized, less stressed,
    and more in your groove?

  • Are you having the impact you feel like you could be having in the world? Do you feel like you’re sharing the gifts you’re here to offer, achieving what you’re here to achieve, and making the difference you’re here to make?

Or do you feel mired in stress, caught in reactivity and worn thin – burned out, even? Do you feel more overwhelmed than overjoyed? Like life is running you, rather than the other way around?

Let’s face it – life can be messy. It can be stressful, uncertain, and bumpy. And it doesn’t come with an instruction manual! This Aliveness Group is a six-week, phone-based, small-group program designed to help you feel less stressed, more energized, and more in your groove.

  • Who is this group for?

  • How do you know if this group is for you?

See if any of these apply:

    • You want to feel more reliably in the groove so you can make more of an impact with your life.
    • You want to replace stress with a greater sense of peace.
    • You want to feel more energized in your life.
    • You want to get more fluid at navigating the challenges, big and small, that life throws your way.
  • And you’re someone who:

    • Wants to make the world a better place.
    • Desires a greater sense of meaning and purpose in your life.
    • Wants to connect with like-minded people who feel the same way.
  • What people are saying

  • Here's what Curt's clients are saying about their Aliveness coaching experience:

  • "I feel better equipped to handle the challenges that I’m still in the middle of, and I feel healthier, calmer. I have less stress in my life. More equanimity in my life. I feel more resilient. I listen better. I’m less reactive than I used to be."

    Jennifer Whitley / Austin, TX

  • "I think in two words, I’m more peaceful and joyful in my days. I’m giving myself permission to show up and belly laugh, even if nobody else is belly laughing around me. I just feel happier overall."

    Ellen Lende / Seattle, WA

  • “The biggest change is really in my own mind. To trust in myself, no need to prove it to anybody. I am beginning to understand the importance of having deep compassion for myself.”

    Craig Nelson / Seattle, WA

    • Everybody's individual exploration becomes a learning laboratory for all the other participants.
    • The collective genius of the group offers you insights and ideas.
    • You benefit from decades of cumulative life experience.
    • You explore in a safe, non-judgmental space.
    • You work in a positive environment where the assumption is you can.
    • You're not alone!

  • Who am I?

As a coach, a writer, and a speaker, I'm on a mission to change the world from the inside out.

There's a line from a poem by Oliver Wendell Holmes that sums up the motivation behind my work.

"Alas for those that never sing,
But die with all their music in them!"

I believe that each and every one of us has, figuratively speaking, music  that life wants to play through us. My work is about helping people discover that music and open to its flow in their lives.

I have written three ebooks. The newest, The Drive to Inner Peace: How Your Commute Can Make You Happier & Less Stressed, offers an approach to using your time at the wheel as a spiritual and personal growth practice. The Occupational Adventure Guide: A Travel Guide to the Career of Your Dreams, takes the reader through the step-by-step system I developed to help people navigate the process, providing a simple, effective framework for finding passion. And 101 Ways to Get Wild About Work, blends insights and action steps in 101 bite-sized ideas to help people turn dreams into reality.

I have been quoted in newspapers throughout North America, including the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe and, in Canada, The Globe and Mail. I have shared my career passion insights on radio shows across the country.

My first blog, The Occupational Adventure, was chosen by Forbes.com as one of the Best of the Web. For several years I blogged about career passion for U.S. News & World Report. Prior to discovering my Passion Catalyst work in 2001, I was a “Professional Malcontent.” I was treading water as a self-employed marketing consultant when the dot com implosion happened. The resulting self-unemployment was the spark that led to a wholesale career change.

I am consistently inspired by people who are working to make the world a better place and having an amazing time along the way.

Based in Seattle, I have traveled to thirty-plus countries and lived in five (US, UK, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland). I speak reasonably fluent Swedish, functionally ugly Spanish, and can read French well enough to get myself into trouble at a French restaurant.
