‘Tis the season to start thinking about the new year and the positive changes we want to make. With that in mind, I’m offering several 4-session packages.
All the packages are based on the work I do with a focus on changing the world from the inside out. Each area of focus is a facet of my work helping people feel less stressed, more resilient, and more energized and engaged so they can make the impact they’re here to make.
If you sign up before December 10th, I’m offering each package for $300, half the normal investment of $600 for 4 sessions.
Stress management
Stress seems to be a way of life these days.
In this coaching package, we’ll use a framework and set of tools I call The Aliveness CODE to help you learn to more effectively manage and reduce that stress.
In the work we’ll do here, you’ll both get more adept at surfing the ebbs and flows of stress in your life as it arises and to build a more solid foundation to stand on so you are less likely to be knocked off balance.
Working within the Aliveness CODE framework, we will create a custom approach to stress management, building on what works best for you. Once you learn the basics, the specifics of your life becomes a learning laboratory for exploring and applying the ideas to develop a tailor made approach.
Career passion
This work takes the idea of career passion out of the fluffy world of dreams and into a practically applicable approach.
My definition of passion is “the energy that comes from bringing more of YOU into what you do.” In these sessions, we’ll explore not just what you love, but why you love it, creating an inner compass that can point you in the direction that feels most energizing and enlivening.
The insights you’ll gain can be applied both in the big picture (e.g., if you’re looking at a career change, or plotting out the optimal career path) and on a more granular level, like identifying what projects, roles, and responsibilities within your current job are most likely to be energizing.
Meaning & purpose
Do you find yourself feeling like “there must be something more” in your life? This package is a great way to dive in and get a better understanding of how to intentionally bring a greater sense of meaning and purpose into your life.
In my approach, purpose is what gives an overall sense of direction, while meaning is what gives depth and flavor to your day-to-day life.
We have made meaning and purpose too mysterious, too out of reach. This approach brings it back down to earth and offers a common-sense context to explore both what it means to you and opportunities to start weaving more meaning and purpose into your life, right here, right now.
You’ll come away with a greater understanding on what gives you a sense of meaning and purpose, and specific ideas on how to incorporate more of it into your day-to-day life
Make a difference
One of the most common sources of meaning is making a difference. In this package, we’ll take a 360-degree look at both what kind of difference you want to make and where the opportunities lie.
We’ll explore what I call your “Ripple Legacy,” the cumulative impact of the choices you make and actions you take, day in and day out throughout your life. We’ll look at the seven core ways we can make a difference, the difference you’re already making, and the possibilities to take a more intentional approach.
We’ll look at how to turn making a difference into a fulfilling, energizing – and most important, completely and sustainably doable – way of living your life.
You will come away with both a general understanding of the difference you feel called to make and specifics you can start implementing right away.
Inner Game of Impact
All the ways you have ever made a difference – and all the ways you ever will – have one thing in common. They originate with you. Your inner world and your work in the world are two parts of a fundamentally interconnected whole.
If you want to maximize your impact, if you want to maximize what you have to offer to your efforts to make the world a better place, the inner game is a key piece of the puzzle.
When you feel less stressed, more resilient, and more energized and alive, there are fewer obstacles in your inner landscape to what’s possible, more room for what’s possible to come through you, and more energy to fuel your efforts.
Energy
A conscious, intentional approach to managing your energy can have an enormous impact on everything in your life. It gives you more to put into what you want to achieve, the relationships in your life, and the difference you want to make.
This package builds on a simple approach I call maximizing the Gain-to-Drain Ratio. Simply put, it’s about bringing more of what energizes you into your life, and reducing or even eliminating what drains you.
We’ll start off our work together with a “personal energy audit,” giving you a picture of those current gains and drains. From there, you’ll identify specific opportunities to build more energizers into your life and turn down the volume on what drains you.
You’ll come away with both an improvement to your here-and-now and a framework for energy management that is easy to apply every day for the rest of your life.
Navigating change
We live in a time when change comes more rapidly, and causes more upheaval, than ever in history. Add to that the individual upheaval of big personal changes, like a new job (or career), marriage or divorce, a new child, or retirement, and the result can be overwhelming.
Change is an inevitable constant. Unfortunately, your brain hates that. Your brain evolved to see the uncertainty of change as danger, which means most of us are walking around in a low-grade (or not-so-low-grade) state of fight-or-flight. Not the optimal state for bringing your best to life.
This package aims to help you get better at navigating that change without getting pulled into the vortex of stress. The goal is not only to reduce the negative effect the stress of change can have, but also to free more of the best you have to offer to bring to whatever is happening.
This package builds on the Aliveness CODE framework, and is similar to the stress management package, with a particular focus on navigating change.
Year of the learning lab
What if you had a way to use your life in 2019 as a learning lab to develop more of who and how you want to be?
Forget trying to change with the flip of a switch (failed new year’s resolutions, anyone?). Instead, use your next year as a learning lab to gain, for example, less stress and greater inner peace. Or breathing life into your dreams and goals. Or improving your relationships.
In this package, you will learn the basics of taking a learning lab approach, identify the subject of the learning lab you want to focus on in the coming year, and learn how to get the most out of it and keep the learning going all year long.
